Worked as Chief Commercial Officer, Vice President, Regional Director and Functional head in the Middle East, and CEEMEA, Served as chairman of the board and board member of 6 companies across the Middle East. Co-founder and president of acountrywide Brand Protection Group NGO.

  Managed a relation with multiple business partners and grew the business in 4 countries at a 4 years CAGR varying between 25% & 40%

  Led the integration of 3 global acquisitions regionally doubling the annual growth rate post integration

  Managed 12 manufacturing sites in 10 countries in Central, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, setting strategic regional policies and sourcing strategies, managing initiatives and capacity expansions, restructuring work for sourcing and leading cost reduction programs in line with global financial benchmarks.Restructured and integrated the manufacturing facilities for an international company reducing the operating costs, and streamlining logistics thus improving the cash flow situation and bottom line results.

  Implemented a “Go to Market” strategy that increased product availability and market positioning delivering gain shares and double digit business growth

  As President of the Brand Protection Group, a Lebanese NGO and coalition of 25 multinational and regional companies whose mission is to fight counterfeit and raise consumer awareness,lobbied and supported the drafting of the country’s consumer protection law in 2007. Led the development of 2 annual countrywide awareness programs. The 2011 campaign won 16 global awards including one at the Cannes Festival.


Career History

Prior to joining Excellence O2, Asaad had a 23 year career with Procter & Gamble (P&G) where he held several senior and executive positions in different disciplines and geographies followed by a role of Chief Commercial Officer andVice President at Fattal Holding responsible for their Iraq, Jordan andSyria business and then for the electronic and household division. Asaad’s long career with P&Ginvolved leadership responsibilitiesin manufacturing, product supply, customer business development and leading globalandregional functional teams. Asaad worked in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Switzerland Central and Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Levant countries.

Asaad holds a Bachelor of Engineering (civil) from the American University of Beirut. He is certified trainer for management, leadership, total quality, and product supply leadership courses.
