Turning around low-performing yet largest unit of a major industrial automation company into a powerhouse under a 70-week transformation program which included assets carve-out. He grew business organically from $400Mio up to about $1Bio over a 4-year period, faster than market growth; from a loss making and cash drain to an 8% ROS with 100% cash conversion.
Re-engineering of services businesses, improving cost run rate while increasing customer satisfaction; leveraging off-shoring in low cost & low turnover rate countries, automating all non value-added tasks, and changing all processes and client interactions within 18 months.

Career History
Prior to joining ExcellenceO2, Patrick was President of the EMEA operations of Invensys Process Systems (IPS) since early 2004. As a member of Invensys leadership team, Patrick was also leader of the Global Services organization.
Patrick Buffet has a 15 year experience in High-Tech industries. He has worked in many market leading companies such as Microsoft, HP and Digital. He has had a wide variety of roles from CEO in application software business to senior Vice-President assignments, covering Corporate Development & Alliances, Operations, Sales & Marketing and Services. Patrick Buffet has had the dual experience of having run country operations as a Managing Director, regional territories, as well as leading global functions. He has a track record of transformation, driving improvements, getting operations back on track and growing. He participated in many acquisitions and mergers, and he was a regular contributor to the international academic community as a visit professor or business speaker.
Patrick Buffet started his career at Procter & Gamble, first in Finance and then in Brand Management. This has helped him acquire a strong financial background in M&A around the world and in Sales & Marketing.
Patrick is also a Director at Visconti-Coaching and an executive coach, a Chairman of the Board and board member in several companies. He has been on the board of international trade organizations and higher education boards.Patrick has a degree in Engineering from the Ecole Supérieure d'Elctronique from Angers (France) and an MBA from the University of Kansas (US).
